We partnered with Citi for an engaging speaker panel focused on early career growth and their experiences in the banking industry. Members gained insight into roles across finance, operations, and business analytics while learning how to navigate the evolving professional landscape. We were joined by Lauren Birch, USF Alumna, and other Citi professionals who shared perspectives from their roles and offered practical advice to help members confidently prepare for internships and future career opportunities.

Breaking Borders: Tampa Bay Women in International Trade

We had the opportunity to host an inspiring panel in collaboration with the Tampa Bay Organization of Women in International Trade (TBOWIT). We welcomed Jennie Sammur, Samantha Tallyn, and Devon Barnett for a meaningful conversation on leadership, career growth, and building a global mindset. Throughout the discussion, we explored how students can intentionally develop leadership skills early, build strong professional relationships, and approach opportunities with confidence and curiosity.

Mock Career Fair with Women in Business

We hosted our Mock Career Fair to help members strengthen their professional skills in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Participants engaged in realistic career fair-style conversations, refined their elevator pitches, received resume feedback, and practiced networking with WIB team members representing various business areas. The event empowered members to build confidence, explore career paths, and gain momentum as they prepare for upcoming recruitment opportunities.
