De-Stress Night with Women in Business 

December 3, 2025

We concluded the semester with a relaxing evening designed to help members decompress before finals week. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our recent growth by writing letters to our future selves, strengthening connections within the club, and enjoying mocktails during a spirited game of WIB Jeopardy. Thank you for a successful semester and we look forward to the exciting opportunities the next semester will bring!

Building a Personal Brand Rooted in Value with PwC

We welcomed PwC for an impactful and engaging evening focused on understanding of personal values and learning how to build a value-driven personal brand in today’s competitive professional landscape. Jessie Beck, Tian Dreschel, Jodi Kudelko, and Jill Notz emphasized the importance of recognizing and owning your unique strengths. Members gained insight into how to confidently communicate their value, align their actions, and cultivate a consistent, authentic professional presence. 

Elevate Your Skills: Preventing Burnout Workshop by Verizon 

November 12, 2025

We partnered with Verizon to host a powerful and engaging workshop focused on preventing burnout and building resilience in both personal and professional settings. Our guest speaker, Tariq Brown, delivered an impactful message that resonated deeply with our members, as burnout is a challenge many of us face. Through guided reflection and discussion, members explored their own stress triggers, energy patterns, and habits to better understand how to foster a healthy work-life balance. 

WIB Build-Your-Brand Night

Our ‘Build-Your-Brand-Night’ was a meaningful workshop designed to help our members strengthen their professional presence. Throughout the evening, attendees were encouraged to rotate among stations, receiving free professional headshots, personalized resume review, and LinkedIn guidance. It was a night filled with learning, confidence-building, and connecting with the WIB community. 

Women at DTCC: A Conversation on Financial Leadership

We collaborated with DTCC (Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation) for an exclusive discussion with Laura Smith and Kerine Black – two accomplished leaders shaping the future of global finance and technology. Attendees got insights into the essential skills needed to excel in finance, compliance, and technology-driven careers, all while engaging in an interactive case study to provide practical solutions inspired by insights from the panelists.  

TBOWIT Women Leading Global Trade: A Conversation with Diana Mroue

We partnered with TBOWIT to welcome Diana Mroue, a woman leader in global trade and logistics who has navigated international markets and built impactful careers. She shared insights on her career journey, professional growth, and mentorship in today’s global business environment. Additionally, we got to hear from two current interns, Sophia Loubriel and Allison Housh, who offered valuable advice and reflections for students pursuing various paths.  

From Vision to Venture: Dr. Sera Lavelle’s Journey to Entrepreneurship

We welcomed Dr. Sera Lavelle - psychologist, author, and entrepreneur - for an inspiring discussion on the challenges and opportunities of building multiple businesses. Attendees learned practical strategies for creating impact and achieving success as women entrepreneurs and were introduced to her newly launched AI-powered app, Bea Better Eating, which helps users overcome emotional eating.

We hosted MUFG, one of the world’s leading financial institutions, for an insightful recruitment event and panel discussion. We heard from experts in the banking and finance industry that provided valuable insights on their professional experiences, practical career advice, and finished the night with an engaging networking session.

We partnered with Kaylin Ingram, an accomplished author, educator, TEDx speaker, and co-founder of Hang Ten Creativity Agency. Kaylin shared her knowledge and experience as a woman in business and offered valuable perspectives on entrepreneurship, creativity, and leadership. We finished the night with an insightful networking session featuring multiple women leaders from across different business and industries. 

EmpowerHer: Launching our Women in Leadership Program

We are proud to have launched our first edition of our Women in Leadership Program, designed to help women lead, empower, and collaborate through mentorship and community engagement. The program is dedicated to empowering young women who aspire to lead across industries in fields where women are underrepresented or in spaces they are already redefining.

Bracelets & Ballots

The Spring semester concluded with the election and a social event. The 2025–2026 Executive Board was successfully elected. Our members created friendship bracelets to commemorate the memories and connections built throughout the year. It was a celebration of our foundation and the beginning of an exciting new chapter with the incoming board.
